=6x² +15x -8x -20

= 3x(2x +5) -4( 2x+5)

= (3x-4) ( 2x+5)

6x^2 + 7x - 20

6x^2 + 15x - 8x -20

3x(2x+5) - 4(2x+5)

(3x-4)(2x+5)

now if this value have to 0

then (3x-4)(2x+5)=0

if multiple of two number is zero then one should be zero

(2x+5)=0 or (3x-4)=0

x=-5/2 or 4/3.
