using formula a²-b² = (a+b)(a-b)
(2x+3y)²-(2x-3y)²

(2x+3y+2x-3y)[2x+3y-(2x-3y)]
4x(2x-2x+3y+3y)
4x(6y) => 24xy
hope this helps

(2x + 3y)² - ( 2x - 3y)² = 24xy

Given :

The expression (2x + 3y)² - ( 2x - 3y)²

To find :

Factorise the expression

Formula :

a² - b² = ( a + b ) ( a - b )

Solution :

Step 1 of 2 :

Write down the given expression

The given expression is

(2x + 3y)² - ( 2x - 3y)²

Step 2 of 2 :

Factorise the expression

We use the formula a² - b² = ( a + b ) ( a - b )

 \sf  {(2x + 3y)}^{2}  -  {(2x  - 3y)}^{2}

 \sf   = (2x + 3y + 2x - 3y)(2x + 3y - 2x + 3y)

 \sf   =( 4x) \times (6y)

 \sf   = 24xy
