${a}^{7} + a {b}^{6}$

$= a( {a}^{6} + {b}^{6} )$

= a[(a²)³+(b²)³]

Using , x³+y³=(x+y)(x²+y²-xy) ,we get

$= a( {a}^{2} + {b}^{2} )( {a}^{4} + {b}^{4} - {a}^{2} {b}^{2} )$

Hence, factorised!
