Factorise the following
(i) x2 + 4x + 4​

➜ x² + 2x + 2x + 4

➜ x(x + 2) + 2(x + 2)

➜ (x + 2)(x + 2)

➜ (x + 2)²

➜ x² + (2)² + 2×x×2

By using identinty:-

a² + b² + 2ab = (a + b)²

➜ x² + (2)² + 2×x×2 = (x + 2)²

=4x+4x+4 . 1

=4x(x+x+1)

=4(2x+1)
