----> y²-18y+65

---->y²-5y-13y+65(13 and 5 is the factor of 65 and if at 13 and 5 wewill get 18)

---->y(y-5)+13(y-5)

---->(y-5)(y-13)

---->y=5 or y=13.(if there is a negative sign we will take it is positive and if there is a positive side we will take it is negative so here it is a negative sign so why will be is equal to 5 or 13)

thank you so much hope it helps please mark as BRAINLEIST ❤️

by spliting the middle term

y^2-18y+65

y^2-(13+5)y+65

y^2-13y-5y+65

y(y-13)-5(y-13)

(y-5)(y-13)
