to factorise

============

x^2 + 14x + 45

we do factor of 45

3 *3 *5 is the factor

we use splitting the middle terms

x^2 + 9x + 5x + 45

x ( x + 9 ) +5 ( x + 9 )

hence your answer is

( x + 9 ) + ( x + 5 )
