x² - x - x + 1

= x(x-1)-1(x-1)

= (x-1)(x-1)

= (x-1)³

Step-by-step explanation:

 {x}^{2}  - 2x + 1

By factorisation method

we get:-

 {x}^{2}  - x - x + 1 = 0

x(x-1)-1(x-1) = 0

(x-1) (x-1) = 0

therefore

x-1 = 0 or x-1 = 0

x = 1 or x = 1

The zeros are 1 , 1
