1. {p}^{2} - 6p + 9 \\ using \: splitting \: the \: middle \: term \\ method \: we \: get \\ {p}^{2} - 3p - 3p + 9 \\ p(p - 3) - 3(p - 3) \\ (p - 3)(p - 3)

2. \: \: {y}^{2} + 7y - 8 \\ {y}^{2 } + 8y - y - 8 \\ y(y + 8) - (y + 8) \\ (y - 1)(y + 8)

3. \: \: \: 4 {x}^{2} - 1 \\ ( {(2x)}^{2} - {1}^{2} ) \\ using \: identity \: {x}^{2} - {y}^{2} = (x + y)(x - y) \\ we \: get \\ (2x + 1)(2x - 1)

4. 15a^2+12a^3
taking common 3a^2
we get
3a^2(5+4a)

hope this helps you....
