1 8a³

= (1)³ – (2a)³

Using Identity : = (x y)(x² + xy + )

Here, x = 1 and y = 2a

So, 1 – 8a³ = (1)³ – (2a)³

= (1 – 2a) {(1)² + (1 × 2a) + (2a)²}

= (1 – 2a) (1 + 2a + 4a²)

Answer : 1 – 8a³ = (1 – 2a) (1 + 2a + 4a²)

Answer:

1 – 8a³

= (1)³ – (2a)³

Using Identity : x³ – y³ = (x – y)(x² + xy + y²)

Here, x = 1 and y = 2a

So, 1 – 8a³ = (1)³ – (2a)³

= (1 – 2a) {(1)² + (1 × 2a) + (2a)²}

= (1 – 2a) (1 + 2a + 4a²)
