x-3x^2-9x-5\\= -3x^2 +x-9x-5\\= -3x^2-8x-5\\=-(3x^2+8x+5)\\

by splitting the middle term,

=-(3x^2+3x+5x+5)\\=-(3x(x+1)+5(x+1))\\=-((x+1)(3x+1))\\= (-x-1)(3x+1)

pls mark as brainliest if you find this helpful! :D it took time to write with math input :P
