{\huge{\orange{\bf{HOLA!!}}}}

x³-5x²-x+5

using grouping method

x²(x-5)-1(x-5)

(x²-1)(x-5)

{x²-1} can be written as (x+1)(x-1) using the identity (a+b)(a-b)=a²-b²

=(x+1)(x-1)(x-5)

Factors are:-

  • x+1
  • x-1
  • x-5

Hope it helps you....

Hey !

Factorisation

We know ,

- = ( a + b ) ( a - b )

=> - 5x² - x + 5

=> ( x - 5 ) - 1 ( x + 5 )

=> ( - 1 ) ( x + 5 )

=> ( x + 1 ) ( x - 1 ) ( x + 5 ) Ans
