x²+6x+9

This can be factorised by SPLITTING THE MIDDLE TERM.

x²+6x+9.
=x²+3x+3x+9.
=x(x+3)+3(x+3).
=(x+3)(x+3).
=(x+3)²

The factors of x²+6x+9 are (x+3) and (x+3).

It can also be factorised by using the identity (a+b)²=a²+2ab+b²
