x^2 + z^2 - 2xz

It is a formula of (a - b)^2

So it will be,

(x - z)^2
OR
(x - z) (x - z)

x^2 + z^2 - 2xz
= (x)^2 + (z)^2 - 2(x)(z)
= [a^2 + b^2 - 2ab = (a - b)^2]
= (x - z)^2
