factorise x2 +1 /6x -1 /6

X2+1/6x-1/6

multiply the whole eqn. by 6 then,

6x2+x-1

6x2-2x+3x-1 (splitting the middle term)

2x(3x-2)+1(3x-1)

(2x+1)(3x-1)

factors are (2x+1) and (3x-1)

value for X is -1/2 and +1/3
