Heya!Mate❤
The equation is
x² + 11x – 60
x² + 15x-4x - 60
x(x+15) -4(x+15)
(x+15)(x-4)=0
x= -15,4
(-15 not possible bcoz negetive so answer is +4)

Solution :-
Given ,
p(x) = x² + 11x - 60
Putting p(x) = 0
→ x² + 11x - 60 = 0
Now , splitting the middle term
→ x² + 15x - 4x - 60 = 0
Taking common
→ x(x + 15) - 4(x + 15) = 0
→ (x + 15)(x - 4) = 0
Now , either x + 15 = 0 or x - 4 = 0
Then ,
x + 15 = 0
x = - 15
x - 4 = 0
x = 4
Hence , x = -15 or 4
