=x^2+2xy-99y^2

using identity (a-b)^2=a^2-2ab+b^2

=(x)^2-2xy+(√99y)^2

=(x-√99y)^2

Answer:

(x + 11y)(x - 9y)

Step-by-step explanation:

 {x}^{2}   + 2x - 99 {y}^{2}  \\  =  {x}^{2} + 11xy - 9xy - 99 {y}^{2}  \\  = x(x + 11y) - 9y(x + 11y) \\  = (x + 11y)(x - 9y)

(x + 11y)(x - 9y)

are the factors
