X³+13x²+32x+20
=(x+1)(x²+12x+20) [∵, for x=-1, x³+13x²
+32x+20=-1+13-32+20=0]
=(x+1)(x²+10x+2x+20)
=(x+1){x(x+10)+2(x+10)}
=(x+1){(x+10)(x+2)}
=(x+1)(x+2)(x+10)

hey dear

here is your answer

Factorise

x^3 + 13x^2 + 32x +20

we assumed the value = -1

means p(x) means

p ( x) = x^3 + 13x^2 +32x +20

p (- 1) = x ( -1)^3 + 13 ( -1)^2 +32 (-1) +20

p(-1) = -1 +13 -32 +20

So

= -33 +33

= 0

hence factor is x -1 =0

hence factor is ( x-1)

answer is ( x - 1)

hope it helps

thank you
