Answer

F(1)=x3_3x2-9x-5

=-16

F(-1)=x3 -3x2-9x-5

=0

Therefore f(-1)= 0

It is the factor .

(X+1) is the factor .

Divide it with x3-3x2-9x-5

Dividend =divisor ×quotient +remainder .

=(X+1)(x2 -4x -5)

=(X-5) (x+1) (x-1).
