Sum of sum of zeros = - b/a

- 3 = - b/a

Product of zeros = c/a

2 = c/ a

By comparing

a = 1, b = 3 and c = 2

Therefore quadratic polynomial is

x² + 3x + 2

.

Hope it helps uh!

Given :

• Sum of zeroes = -3

• Product of zeroes = 2

____________________

To Find :

• Quadratic equation

____________________

Solution :

Let the zeroes be α and β

⇒Sum of zeroes (α + β) = -3

⇒ Product of zeroes (αβ) = 2

___________________

⇒k[x² - (sum of zeroes)x + Product]

⇒k[x² - (α + β) + αβ]

⇒k[x² - (-3x) + 2]

⇒x² + 3x + 2

➜ Quadratic polynomial is x² + 3x + 2
