Factorize the algebraic expression x² + 6x + 5

X2 + 5x + x + 5

x(x+5) 1(x+5)

(x+5) (x+1)

x=-5

x=-1

x2 +6x + 5

Here,for factorising......we need two no.s whose sum is 6 and product is 5

The only possible no.s are

1&5

Hence. x2 +6x + 5=(x+1)(x+5)
