USING SPLITTING THE MIDDLE TERM METHOD,

Step 1:
First multiplying the last two terms,
we get 40.

Step 2:
4x^2 -8x -5x +10
Taking the common,
4x (x-2) -5 (x-2)
So,
x-2 =0 And 4x-5 =0
x= 2 and x= 5/4.
