 {x}^{2}  - 2x + 4 \\ adding \: ans \: subtracting \: 1 \\  {x}^{2}  - 2x + 4 + (1 - 1) \\  ({x}^{2}  - 2x + 1) + 3 \\  {(x - 1)}^{2}  +  { (\sqrt{3} )}^{2}  \\ use \: this \: property \\  {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2}  + 2xy =  {(x + y)}^{2}  \\ so \\  \:  {(x - 1)}^{2}  +  { (\sqrt{3} )}^{2}  =  {(x - 1 +  \sqrt{3}) }^{2}  + 2(x - 1)( \sqrt{3} )
