Explanation:

Resistance depends on following factors:

1) Length: It is directly proportional to resistance of the conductor.

2) Area: It is inversely proportional to resistance to the cross sectional area of the conductor.

3) Temperature: It is directly proportional to resistance.

4) Resistivity: It is directly proportional to resistance of the conductor.

AnswEr:

Factors on which internal resistance depends :

  • Concentration of electrolyte.
  • Distance between electrodes.
  • Area of electrodes dipped.
  • Temperature.

ExplanaTion:

If concentration is more, resistance will be more. It distance between electrodes is more, resistance will be more. If more area is dipped, more number of e's will be flowing hence, less. If temperature is more, internal resistance will be less due to this factor. It is easier to start a car during summer than in winter. Since in summer, temperature more, so internal resistance of car battery will be less. More current is given for spark hence easily started.
