(a) we know that

factory A produces 54 pizza crusts a day.

and factory B produces 4 times as many pizza crustas as factory A

which is equal to

54×4 = 216.

So, it means that factory B produces 216 pizza crusts in a day.

(b) For finding that how many pizza crusts do the factories produce altogether

we will add them

factory A produces pizza crusts a day = 54

factory B produces pizza crusts a day = 216

54 + 216 = 270
