Disaster Management Authorities came into action after 24 hours by then, the situation had gone beyond one’s control. The army was called for help.
All the public utilities came to a standstill. There were people getting caught in landslides and children who were made to stay in the government schools drowned because of the low-lying area. The whole place became a pandemonium where all the hell broke loose.
