Answer:

Parents in Family A are heterozygous for the charecter.

Explanation:

We know,

The free Ear-Lobe is a dominant trait of the charecter Ear-Lobe.

Now,

All the children of Family B have got attached Ear-Lobes.

This means that the alleles of parents of Family A are reciessive as well as Homozygous.

On the other hand, in Family A, ot of five children only two have attached ears, in other word only two children have got both alleles recessive. This implies that both parents have one recessive allele. However, other three children do have free ear-lobe, this implies that they do have a dominant allele of Free Ear-Lobe, which they are getting from both the parents.

Therefore the parents of Family A have one recessive and one dominant allele, this shows that parents of Family A have dissimilar allele or have Homozygous Allele.
