Fan is running even after the switching is off. why?

There is sliding friction working on the fan. Which is bigger than static friction.
Hence fan runs also after switching off but only for few minutes.

Fan is running after switch off it because when we switch off it because their motion is going on and its motor is also switch off but it motion is going on .
