20 killed, 30 injured
At least 20 people feared dead and about 30 people injured after a Toyota bus collided with a truck in Mumbai yesterday.
The director of transport, ministry of transportation confirming the fatal accident said the incident took place on Tuesday night in the city of Mumbai leading to the death of 20 people and 30 critically injured.
The director also stated further that the cause of the accident has not been confirmed yet but the dead bodies have been deposited in the mortuary while the critically injured are currently receiving treatment at the state hospital.
The traffic controller officer on his part also confirmed the incident and promise to feed us with more information as the cause of the accident is unraveled.

7 Killed, 15 Injured in Dakshin Dinajpur Bus Accident
Seven people were killed and fifteen others seriously injured in a bus accident in Dakshin Dinajpur on October 20 at 12:45 p.m. The state owned bus collided with a truck parked mistakenly on the side of the road. The speeding bus was trying to overtake another bus from the wrong side and owing to poor visibility the driver failed to see the park truck. 5 people died on the spot whereas two others succumbed to injuries in the hospital.
The deceased have been identified as Mukesh Banerji, Satya Roy, Mhd. Abbas, and Abhishek Chaterji, and Sudharshan from Dakshin Dinajpur; Pankaj and Subroto from Dhanbad. The injured have been hospitalized in the nearby hospitals. The police have registered a case negligent driving against the absconding truck driver. The state transport minister has announced compensation of rupees 200000/- to the families of deceased ones and rupees 50000/- to the families of injured ones.
