Let us take fathers age to be x
Son’s age six years ago was 5x
So there must be a value for x
Check which two values when added give 60 and also minus the two values and check which two values are where one value is five times the other.
The two values will be 46 and 14
For six years ago there ages was 40 and 8 years respectively.
So six years form now there age will be
Father’s age= 46+6
Son’s age = 14+6
Father = 52
Son = 20
Son’s age six years ago was 5x
