Father completes a work in 40 days
Father's one day work = 1/40

Father is 5 times faster than the son.
So,
Son completes same work in (40×5) = 200 days
Son's one day work = 1/200

If Both work together,
(1/40)+(1/200)
= (5+1)/200
= 6/200 = 3/100

Hence, they can do together this work in 33.33 days
or \huge{33~days~and~8~hrs}
