Since there is no air redistribute in a vacuum they both will reach the ground at the same time when released from the same height.

Gravity pulls both of them down , but since there is no buoyancy and air resistance, they will reach at the same time.

But if it was not a vacuum the the the two would reach at separate timing(stone first , then pencil).

Answer:

Acceleration due to gravity does not depend on mass. It remains same for each object. Since stone and pencil are falling in a vacuum, there will be no air resistance on them. Hence, time taken for them to reach the ground will be same.
