Answer:

Let the present age of daughter as x

Present age of father 4x

After 6 years daughter’s age=x+6

After 6 years father’s age=4x+6

4x+6=3(x+6)

4x=3x+18–6

4x-3x=18–6=12

Present age of daughter 12 years

Present age of father =4*12=48

After 6 years daughter’s age=12+6=18

After 6 years father’s age =48+6=54

Father’s age after 6 years 3 times the age of daughter

After another 6 years

Daughter’s age=18+6=24

Father’s age =54+6=60

Father’s age will be 5 times daughter’s age
