Heya Friend !!!!
Here is ur ans with solution :-
Let the age of father be x
and the age of sons (here sons means both the two son ) be y
as according to question,
x = 3y ........... ( i )
After five year,
Father age will be :- ( x + 5 )
and
sons age will be :- ( y + 10 )
( x + 5 ) = 2 ( y + 10 )
x + 5 = 2y + 20
x - 2y + 5 - 20 = 0
x - 2y - 15 = 0 ...........( ii )
Putting the value of x from equation ( i ) in equation ( ii )
x - 2y - 15 = 0
3y - 2y - 15 = 0
y - 15 = 0
y = 15
Now,
by putting the value of y in eq ( i )
x = 3y
x = 3 × 15
x = 45
So, the age of father came to be 45
