According to the question, The father's present age = 4x,

After 5 years,
Sonu's age will be (x + 5),

according to the question Father's age after 5 years is 3*(x+5) = 3x+15,

We know that after 5 years, Father's age would be 5 + Present age = (4x+5), But according the data it is (3x+15) , So equal them to solve for x,

=> (3x+15) = (4x+5)
=> 10 = x,

Therefore Sonu's present age = 10, And his Father's present age = 4*10 = 40,
