Answer,

Let the present age of father be ‘a’ and present sum of age of sons be "b".

According to the question,

Father’s age is three times the sum of ages of his two children. After 5 years his age will be twice the sum of ages of two children.

⇒ a = 3b

a + 5 = 2(b + 10) [10 for two sons]

3b + 5 = 2b + 20

b = 15

Thus,

a = 3b = 45

Father's age =>> 45 years!

Thanks!
