Fats in our body generally are neutral in nature.
It is the job of the wall of the stomach to secrete gastric lipase which will then digest small chained fats and hydrolyse them to form fatty acids and glycerides.
The wall of the stomach secretes HCL which provides the medium for digestion in stomach, the formed fatty acid is also acidic in nature and thus the acidity in stomach is maintained.
