Fe2O3+3Co=2Fe+3CO2

In number of oxidation no of Fe ion in Fe2O3 is(2x-6) =0;x=3.The no of o. n in Fe is 0 in right hand side. The no of our. n of Course in 3CO is 2; or the other hand in right hand side, the o. n of 3CO2 is 4; so the Car atom will be oxidized
