River Brahmaputra rises in Tibet , east of Mansarovar  . This river flows parallel to the Himalayas. On reaching Namcha Barwa it takes a U turn and here it is called Dihang and is joing by Dibang, Lohit and many other tributaries.Bramhaputra is marked by huge deposits of silt on its bed causing the river bed to rise. This also lets its channel shift frequently.
hope this would help you, pls mark this answer as the best.
