the kabuliwala by rabindranath tagore, is a story,in which we see 3 main characters. ...i.e mini,the narrator and the kabuliwala (rahamat)...in the story we see that mini is a small girl,who likes chit chatting and thus,is very talkative...she comes in the narrators room,and starts talking and playing and singing rhymes ....then she peeps from the window ,she sees the kabuliwala walking shouts"kabuliwala, o kabuliwala " and calls rahamt,..at the first meating of the kabuliwala and mini,mini was scared of him,as she thought the bag kabuliwala nhad contained 2 to 3 kids like her...to vanish this fear,the narrator introduced mini to the kabuliwala. ...this shows the love of a father,who wanted to see his child free from all fears....after the first meeting kabuliwala and mini became very good friends, rahamat came everyday to meet mini. ..rahamat had a daughter of minis age in Afghanistan and rahamat saw his daughter in mini , this shows 2 things, firstlove for ones daughter. ..and friendship,..friendship is a very difficult word to be described in words, as it is an emotional relationship, an attachment between 2 people..its is not necessary that friends are of same age,gender,class,caste,religion etc,..anyone can be friends with anyone. .this is what the story tells...due to the meetings of kabuliwala and mini, minis mom was very worried as she was a timid lady,she was fearful a kabuliwala thinking that he would kidnap mini and take mini to Afghanistan. ..this shows that people dont trust each other .....in the end, when rahamat is out of the jail and was wishing to see his own daughter, the narrator coukd feel the emtiness that the kabuliwala had been facing in his life for being not able to meet his daughter. ...he cuts some expenses from minis marriage even though others were not happy by it,and gives some money to rahamat to go back to afghansitan and see his own daughter, ..a father feels for another father, and consequently helps the kabuliwala. ...
