Female literacy rate in India is still far behind that of men. What are the reasons for it? Explain.

Some people in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are backward and undeveloped. They cannot understand the needs of a girl or a women. a women can only give birth to a child. They kill the girl child born in the family. This is the main reason for less female literacy.
