Democracy is a form of government where people are supposed to choose their own form of government by voting through elections.

In democracy, people may like democracy or may not be . there are many arguments against democracy, but there were arguments in favour of democracy too. Points on favour of democracy-

• A democratic government is a better government as it us more accountable form of government.

•When a number of people put up their views together, they are able to point out mistakes in any decision.

•This process takes time but there is a big advantage in taking time over important decisions.

•Democracy provide a method to deal with differences and conflicts.

•Whichever group is more powerful will dictate it's terms and others will have to accept that. This will not lead to fights after that, as each government who lose will know that winning or losing was in hands of public.
