Solution :-

Given = Total cost of fencing = Rs/ 4930

Rate of fencing per meter = Rs. 85

perimeter = Total cost of fencing/Rate of fencing per meter

⇒ 4930/85

⇒ Perimeter = 58 m

 Length = ?

Perimeter = 2*(Length + Breadth)

⇒ 58 = 2*(Length + 10)

⇒ 58 = 2L + 20

⇒ 2L = 58 - 20

⇒2L = 38

⇒ L = 38/2

⇒ L = 19 m

So, perimeter of compound is 58 m and length is 19 m

Given :

Breadth of a compound= 10 m

Cost of fencing the compound = ₹ 4930

Rate of fencing per meter = ₹ 85

Perimeter of the compound= Cost of fencing/Rate of fencing per meter

Perimeter of the compound= 4930/85

Perimeter of the compound = 58 m

Perimeter = 2(Length + Breadth)

58 = 2(Length + 10)

58/2 = Length +10

29 = Length +10

29 -10= length

L = 19 m

Hence, the perimeter of compound is 58 m and it's length is 19 m.
