Fertilizer makes soil fertile,then why are farmers increasingly being warned against excessive use of fertilizer

and some farmers are not able to buy the fertilizer

Farmers warned to use of chemical frtiliser because Excesive use this fertilisers can harm plant and living organisms if soil. But farmers can use manure which nagural fertilisers which increase soil feryility and donot any harm to living beings.
