The reaction of \bold{\mathrm{FeSO}_{4} \text { with } \mathrm{Al}} can be written as:

3 \mathrm{FeSO}_{4}+2 \mathrm{Al} \rightarrow \mathrm{Al}_{2}\left(\mathrm{SO}_{4}\right)_{3}+3 \mathrm{Fe}

Here Al displaces Fe from the \mathrm{FeSO}_{4} solution hence Fe will deposit and color of solution will change to reddish brown.

Hence when we mix aluminum react with iron sulphate, it forms aluminum sulphate and iron will deposit.

This is because Al is more reactive than Fe therefore it can easily replace the Fe from the solution.
