Yes, I agree with the statement. Fever is a way by which our body tries to combat against a particular pathogen. The rise in temperature of our body results in a fever. This is due to active immunity inflammatory response. The immune system of our body (mainly the WBCs) fight against the pathogen which causes certain biochemical reactions which results in inflammation, or fever. It is a sigh that a pathogen has invaded our body and our immune system is fighting against it.

PS. I am sorry I couldn't help u in time.

Yes, i agree with the statement “Fever is the way by which our body tries to combat against a particular pathogen”

  • Fever is as an abnormal condition which results in an elevated temperature of the human body that exceeds the normal range
  • Fever can support body’s immune system to gain advantage over viruses and bacteria.
  • A body at higher temperature can increase the immunity power and provides hostile environment for pathogens
  • Inflammation is a sign that the white blood cells are on attack against a particular pathogen by releasing substances involved in immune response
