Dimensions of Cap

Radius       r = 7 Cm
Slant Height     l = 15 Cm

Thus
Area of Hat = pi r * l
                    = 22/7 * 7 * 15
                    = 360 Cm^2

Cos of Hat = 360 * 50
                  = 18000

Answer:

CP=180000 paise

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Few children of economically weaker section used recycled paper to make conical party caps with radius 7 cm and slant height 15 cm to sell on a street stall.

The selling price of a cap is 50 Paisa per cm square which is while it is cost rupees 10 per 100 cm square.

To find : How much profit they would be earning by selling 50 caps?

Solution :

Dimensions of Cap

Radius,  r = 7 cm

Slant Height, l = 15 cm

Area of Hat is given by,

A=π * r * l

A= 22/7 * 7 * 15

A = 360 cm²

The selling price of a cap is 50 Paisa per cm square which is while it is cost rupees 10 per 100 cm square.

Cost of Hat = 360 * 1000/100

Cost of Hat = 3600 paise

Cost of 50 caps = 3600*50=180000 paise
