5x - 4/x-4+5 = 10/3
5x - 4/x +1 = 10/3
3(5x - 4) = 10(x + 1)
15x - 12 = 10x + 10
5x = 22
x = 22/5
No. of students who passed = 22
No. of students who failed = 22/5 = approx. 4
Total number of students who appeared = 26
