field in the shape of a trapezium whose parallel sides are 50cm and 80cm.The
Non –parallel sides are 25cm and 26cm. Find the area of the field.

The parallel sides = 45.2 and 22.8

The height is 12

Area of trapezium = 1/2 × (sum of parallel lines ) x height  

= 1/2 × 68 × 12

= 68 × 6

= 408

Cost of leveling = 3/m²

Total cost = 408 × 3

= 1224
