It is a picture of a meeting of the Frankfurt parliament vin the church of St Paul

Here the meeting was held on the issue that the women were became active they formed their own political associations , founded newspaper and taken part in social meetings and they wanted their rights but it was a controversial issue while the liberal movement and in the Parliament shown in the picture the women were admitted only as observer to stand in the visitors gallery .
