Figure shows the distance-time graph for the motion of two vehicles A and B. Which one of them is moving faster?

From the graph it is evident that for a given time t, The distance covered by a vehicle A is more than vehicle B. Hence, Vehicle A is moving faster Than Vehicle B.

The vehicle A is moving faster.

1) As evident from the graph, Vehicle A is covering more distance in the same time as Vehicle B and Since Speed = Distance/ Time.

So, Vehicle A is Moving Faster than vehicle B.

2) The Speed of an object can also be calculated by calculating the slope of its graph. Since, the slope of vehicle A is grater than slope of vehicle B.

It is moving faster.
